Jennifer Jensen ~ Owner | Floral Designer
I remember one of my first science experiments when I was 5-6 years old was placing flowers into varying liquids to drink, i.e. water, 7-up, coke, sugar water, vinegar, etc… to see which liquids would make the flowers last the longest. That was probably one of the first signs that I was destined to become a floral artist! Following my passion for art and all things organic I found my first job in the floral industry while studying fine art and design in college.
After designing with and managing some of the top high-end florists in San Diego for the past 15 years, I decided to follow my passion for art and flowers and started Third Bloom. With a talented team and a passion for art and flowers, we are so excited to offer floral artistry that takes into consideration every detail...from the seasons, environment, and design and service. We offer the highest quality locally grown and crafted products, exquisite floral designs, and exceptional service for all of San Diego. We’re here for you whatever your floral needs may be!
At Third Bloom we are committed to using environmentally sustainable practices in every aspect of our floral art and daily lives to help reduce our environmental impact so that all things have room to bloom!
Here at Third Bloom we are proud to be committed to sustainable practices that reduce your environmental footprint of your event. Not only is San Diego & Southern California the ideal place for your picturesque event and a day at the beach, but the perfect growing conditions for flowers year-round, which gives us the ability to buy local, support our community and lower your carbon footprint. All of our roses are locally grown right in Encinitas, along with many other varieties of flowers! And the roses even smell good : )
Not only do we recycle all the water we use back into the garden and compost all organic waste, but we also offer recycling for your event flowers, our “Bloom Back” program. You can schedule us to pick up the flowers left after your event and we will re-purpose them into new arrangements that will be donated to local nursing homes in the community... spreading the joy of flowers!
